FBI Adds Notorious Gangster Goldy Brar to Most Wanted List with $1 Million Reward

Washington, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : The FBI has officially included notorious gangster Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, on its list of the ten Most Wanted fugitives. A reward of up to $1 million is being offered for information leading to his arrest.

According to the FBI, Brar plays a significant role in the Lawrence Bishnoi organized crime group, which is implicated in crimes such as murder, extortion, and drug trafficking across the United States and Canada. He is believed to reside in the U.S. while leading the group’s operations in North America.

Brar faces serious charges in a federal court in Los Angeles, including conspiracy to commit racketeering, extortion, and drug distribution. These charges are currently allegations, and he has not yet been convicted.

The FBI has labeled Brar as armed, extremely violent, and dangerous. Authorities warn the public to avoid any contact with him, as he is known to reside in parts of California and Canada.

His inclusion on the Most Wanted list marks a significant step in the investigation of crimes affecting Indian immigrants in particular. The FBI asserts that the group utilizes violence, including shootings, kidnappings, and threats, to instill fear. They are also involved in drug and arms trafficking.

In September 2025, the Canadian government designated the Bishnoi group as a terrorist organization. One of three indictments opened earlier this year alleges that Brar helped direct the group’s activities worldwide. The FBI claims he acted on behalf of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is imprisoned in India, and provided instructions to other members.

Investigators allege that Brar and Bishnoi ordered the murder of an Indian political and religious figure residing in Canada on June 18, 2023. Additionally, group members are accused of stealing approximately 520 kilograms of cocaine from a rival drug gang in the Los Angeles area between March 2024 and July 2025.

This announcement follows Operation Hardball, the results of which were released on July 7. Three indictments were filed against 37 individuals linked to three transnational organized crime groups in India. At that time, 24 suspects had already been arrested or were in custody.

Since then, four more fugitives have been apprehended, and one has been found deceased. Goldy Brar remains one of five suspects still at large from this operation.

Lisa Moreland, Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, stated, “Including him on the FBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted list demonstrates our collective resolve to capture him. The RCMP is committed to working with the FBI to bring Goldy Brar to justice.”

Brar is the 543rd person to be added to the FBI’s Most Wanted list. Anyone with information can contact 1-800-CALL-FBI or reach out to the nearest FBI office or U.S. embassy. The agency assures that tips can be provided anonymously.
