Family of Ranchi Man Missing in Nepal Disaster Appeals for Help

Ranchi, August 30: The devastating natural disaster in Nepal has left the family of Ramprasad Ghosh from Ranchi in deep distress as he has gone missing. His family continues to hold onto hope for his safe return.

On Sunday, Ramprasad’s relatives met with Defense Minister of State Sanjay Seth to seek assistance in locating him.

The 41-year-old Ramprasad Ghosh was working at a hydro power project camp in the Trishuli area of Nepal. Since the floods and natural calamity struck on August 26, there has been no trace of him. His family is heartbroken, yet they remain optimistic that he is safe and will return to India soon.

During the meeting with Sanjay Seth, Ramprasad’s father and other family members urged him to provide all possible help in the search for Ramprasad and ensure his safe return. Seth immediately contacted relevant officials and the embassy to gather information regarding Ramprasad’s situation and to expedite the search efforts.

Sanjay Seth shared photos of his meeting with Ramprasad’s family on social media, confirming that the Ranchi resident is among those missing in the tragic events in Nepal. He assured the family that he would do everything possible to locate Ramprasad and facilitate his safe recovery. Seth also expressed his prayers for Ramprasad’s safe return.

It is reported that the recent disaster in Nepal has claimed over 700 lives, with more than 2,500 individuals still unaccounted for, including several Indians.
