Lucknow, September 2: BJP MP Kaushal Kishore has stated that he has been intentionally humiliated. He announced that the Self-Respect Rally, scheduled for September 13 at the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow, is not just for him, but also to honor the martyrs of independence, defenders of Sanatan Dharma, and contract workers who are underpaid. This rally is organized under the banner of the Pasi Mahasangh.
Kishore remarked, “The practice of outsourcing and contracting undermines self-respect. It is a system that enslaves people and must be abolished. This rally is for the dignity and self-respect of contract and outsourcing workers. It will take place near Joggers Park in Dubagga, Lucknow.”
He emphasized that the rally is inspired by the principles of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He urged everyone to gather in large numbers at Rashtriya Prerna Sthal on September 13 at 10 AM.
Regarding the core objectives of the party, Kishore stated that party members should reflect on how closely they adhere to their principles. He clarified that he is not targeting any specific political party; this applies to all parties. When people stray from their principles, public trust diminishes. If public trust is eroding, it indicates a deviation from core values.
Kishore likened this phenomenon to Newton’s law, explaining that if any individual, organization, movement, or political party deviates from its principles, it eventually returns to its starting point, losing public trust in the process.
He clarified that his comments are not directed at any particular political party but represent a universal principle applicable to all.
Regarding the upcoming Self-Respect Rally, he recounted that a previous rally on May 19 in Malihabad faced significant opposition, with attempts made to prevent it and undue pressure applied to him. He noted that he was still a member of the BJP then, as he is now. Despite the presence of their government, permission for the rally was revoked, police escorts were withdrawn, and they were instructed not to proceed with the rally. This rally was organized because the gate of Malhi Pasi, who founded Malihabad, was removed, prompting him and the local MLA to protest in the scorching sun for five days to have it reinstated. The May 19 rally was announced in response to protests against the gate, which were conducted without permission, leading to violence and verbal abuse directed at him and his MLA wife.
