
Pune, March 21: A family dispute in Naygaon, Maharashtra escalated into violence when a son attacked his parents over the division of their home. Following this shocking incident, the Daund police have registered a case against the son and daughter-in-law.
According to police reports, the incident occurred when the complainant, 50-year-old Malan Sanjay Kale, was standing outside her home with her husband, Sanjay Pritilal Kale. Their son, Amol Sanjay Kale, and daughter-in-law, Priyanka Amol Kale, arrived and initiated a dispute regarding the division of the house.
Amol Kale reportedly demanded that his parents give him the house they were living in. When they refused, he became enraged and attacked his father with a wooden stick. It is alleged that he struck his father on the head, back, and arms.
When Malan Kale intervened, the accused also assaulted her. The police complaint states that Amol Kale and his wife, Priyanka Kale, threatened to kill the complainant before fleeing the scene.
In response to the incident, the victimized family lodged a complaint at the Daund police station, demanding strict action. The police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 115(2), 118(1), 351(2), 352, and 3(5).
Currently, the investigation is being conducted by Police Constable Mhetre. Authorities have stated that they are actively searching for the accused and further actions will be taken based on the investigation’s findings.
