
Reasi, March 22: In a determined effort to maintain law and order, the Reasi district police have registered two separate First Information Reports (FIRs) against individuals involved in illegal activities. This action sends a clear message about the police’s commitment to enforcing the law. A press note was issued by the Reasi police on Sunday detailing these developments.
According to police reports, the first FIR, numbered 80/2026, was filed at the Katra police station against Ganesh Singh, son of Prakash Singh, a resident of Lamsora in the Bhomag tehsil of Reasi district. The police have initiated an investigation under the relevant sections of the law against the accused.
In the second case, FIR number 81/2026 has been registered against Kuldeep Singh, son of Keval Singh, who resides in Sarotekoate, also in the Bhomag tehsil of Reasi. The police have swiftly commenced the investigation process in this matter as well.
Authorities have confirmed that investigations into both cases are ongoing, and necessary legal actions are being taken as per the law. Police officials have stated that any form of illegal activity will not be tolerated. This operation was conducted under the leadership of Inspector Ranjeet Singh Rao, in charge of PP Banganga and SHO of Katra police station. The initiative was monitored by SDPO Katra Dr. Bhishma Dubey (JKPS) and Katra SP Vipin Chandran (JKPS).
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Parmveer Singh (JKPS) reiterated the police’s zero-tolerance policy towards law violations. He urged the public to cooperate with the police in maintaining peace and harmony. Currently, investigations into both cases are ongoing, with police thoroughly examining every aspect.
