False Kidnapping Story Uncovered as Lucknow Police Arrests Suspect in Ahmedabad
Lucknow police reveal a false kidnapping case linked to job fraud, leading to the arrest of the suspect in Ahmedabad.

Lucknow, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : Lucknow police have made a startling revelation in an alleged kidnapping case. Their investigation uncovered that the supposed kidnapping was fabricated due to pressure from multiple individuals who had paid for job placements but were not refunded. The police successfully located the individual in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, stating that he had traveled there from Lucknow on his own.
The case began on October 6 when a woman named Shipra Yadav filed a complaint at the Madiyanv police station, reporting that her husband, Satyaratna Dixit, was missing. She claimed that someone had come to their home to inform her of her husband’s abduction. Following her complaint, police registered the case and initiated an investigation.
Given the seriousness of the situation, police enlisted the help of the northern zone surveillance team to trace a suspicious mobile number. The location led them to Ahmedabad, prompting the Madiyanv police and the surveillance team to travel there and conduct searches based on the obtained location data.
During their investigation, they discovered Satyaratna Dixit at a hotel on the fourth floor of Vithal Mall. After thorough inquiries, police recovered him safely from his hotel room and began questioning him.
Dixit revealed that he left Lucknow on October 5 and arrived in Ahmedabad on October 7. He admitted to taking money from several individuals under the pretense of securing them jobs, but he was unable to provide employment or refund their money. This left him under pressure from those expecting their money back.
He further explained that he had summoned some individuals on October 5 to give them joining letters for jobs. During this time, other people also contacted him, demanding their money back. Fearing exposure and unable to return the money, he allegedly called emergency services, claiming that two Scorpio vehicles were following him.
During the questioning, Dixit mentioned that after making the false report, he turned off his mobile phone, parked his car near Puraniya Chowk, and took a train from Charbagh Railway Station to Ahmedabad, where he stayed at a hotel.
Authorities confirmed that after the interrogation, police filed charges against Satyaratna Dixit and arrested him, with further legal actions underway.
