New Delhi, April 19: A bizarre incident has emerged from North Rohini, leaving many astonished. A fake robbery case was reported at the North Rohini police station, which was solved by the police in just six hours.
The report was filed by a man named Abhishek, who claimed that he was robbed at gunpoint. According to his complaint, a robbery case was registered at the North Rohini police station. Following this, the police, utilizing technical surveillance and human intelligence, apprehended two individuals.
The arrested suspects were identified as Anuj (39 years old) and Bharat (27 years old). Based on their information, police recovered ₹600,000, a toy gun, and a scooter used in the crime. Further questioning revealed that the incident was orchestrated by the complainant, Abhishek himself.
The police investigation uncovered that due to financial difficulties, Abhishek conspired with co-accused Anuj, Bharat, and Ajay to stage a fake robbery and embezzle ₹1.7 million entrusted to him. Consequently, the police also arrested Abhishek and added charges related to criminal conspiracy.
Efforts are ongoing to recover the remaining amount and apprehend the absconding co-accused involved in this incident.

This significant success was part of a statewide campaign aimed at strengthening internal security and curbing cybercrime. In a joint operation with Hanumangarh district police, an illegal Aadhaar registration center was raided in Bhadra, leading to the arrest of the main accused, Kuldeep Sharma.
