Mumbai, May 20: The Currency Note Press (CNP) in Nashik, a unit of the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), has announced an extension for applications for various positions, including Supervisor, totaling 534 vacancies.

The available positions include Security Officer, Supervisor (Instrumentation), Supervisor (Official Language), Assistant Secretary, Graphic Designer, and Junior Technician (Electronics/Instrumentation), among others. Specifically, there are 1 each for Security Officer, Supervisor (Instrumentation), Supervisor (Official Language), Assistant Secretary, and Graphic Designer; 2 each for Welfare Officer, Junior Technician (Store), Junior Technician (Air Conditioning), Junior Technician (Mechanical/Air Conditioning), and Junior Technician (Electrical/Electronics); 3 each for Supervisor (AC), Supervisor (Ink Factory), Supervisor (Mechanical/Air Conditioning), Supervisor (Electrical/Electronics), Supervisor (Civil), Junior Technician (Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance/Fitter), Junior Technician (Ink Factory Attendant Operator), and Junior Technician (Ink Factory Laboratory Assistant); 6 for Supervisor (IT); 7 for Supervisor (Mechanical); 8 each for Supervisor (Electrical) and Junior Technician (Machinist); 9 for Supervisor (Electronics); 12 for Junior Technician (Electrical); 15 for Junior Technician (Electronics); 20 for Junior Technician (Fitter); 22 for Junior Office Assistant; 25 for Supervisor (Printing); 27 for Supervisor (Technical-Control); 108 for Junior Technician (Printing); and 227 for Junior Technician (Control).

The online application process began on April 20, with the initial deadline set for May 19. However, this deadline has now been extended. Candidates who wish to apply for these positions can submit their registration forms on the official CNP Nashik portal from Wednesday until June 3.

Applicants must possess a degree relevant to the position from a recognized institution or university, which can include qualifications such as 10th grade, ITI, diploma, graduation, or post-graduation. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria and skills relevant to the field.

The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age ranges from 25 to 30 years, depending on the position. Age calculations will be based on the final application date, with age relaxation available for candidates from reserved categories.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination, skill test, interview, and document verification. Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹18,780 to ₹1,03,000, depending on the position.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹1,000 for unreserved/EWS/OBC categories and ₹200 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

To apply online, candidates should visit the official CNP Nashik website. After reaching the homepage, they should click on the active application link for the relevant position. Following this, they can register and log in. Candidates must fill in all requested information in the form, upload the required documents in the correct size, pay the registration fee, and submit the form. Finally, it is advisable to print a copy of the application for future reference.
