Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announces the construction of 400 new Sandipani schools in Madhya Pradesh to enhance educational infrastructure.

Bhopal, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that Madhya Pradesh will see the construction of 400 new Sandipani school buildings. This initiative aims to enhance the educational landscape within the state. During a ceremony on October 21, Yadav distributed appointment letters to 954 employees who received jobs through compassionate appointments.

The Chief Minister noted that the government is committed to resolving the remaining 300 compassionate appointment cases by the end of the year. He symbolically presented appointment letters to 11 individuals during the event held at Ravindra Bhawan. Yadav emphasized that this initiative is a significant step in connecting deserving families with government employment.

Currently, there are 369 Sandipani schools operating in the state. The government has approved the construction of 200 new school buildings under the School Education Department and an additional 200 by the Tribal Welfare Department. The Chief Minister inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp, which began with the singing of “Vande Mataram.” School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh welcomed the Chief Minister with a plant, and several officials were recognized for their outstanding contributions to education.

Yadav expressed that the untimely loss of a government employee can be devastating for their family, affecting both emotional and financial stability. He stated that families facing such hardships are considered part of the government family. He encouraged the officials and employees to strive for excellence in their duties, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s words, “This is the time, the right time.”

The Chief Minister praised the swift resolution of compassionate appointment cases by the School Education Department, calling it commendable and a model for other departments. He stressed that prosperity in a family allows for joyful celebrations. The government is committed to fulfilling its obligations within set timelines. Among those appointed, 661 are Assistant Grade-3, 31 primary teachers, and 262 fourth-grade employees, all dedicated to ensuring a better future for children.

Yadav highlighted the revolutionary changes brought about by government Sandipani schools in the education sector. The budget for school education, which was around ₹400 crore in 2002-03, has now surged to ₹38,000 crore due to the government’s commitment. This funding has facilitated infrastructural development, modern laboratories, sports activities, and high-quality facilities in schools.

He also noted that candidates receiving compassionate appointments can participate in future government recruitments. So far, the state government has provided jobs to over 85,000 young people, including 15,000 in school education, with 20,000 more positions set to be filled soon. More than 100,000 officials and employees have benefited from promotions, creating vacancies that are currently being addressed. The government plans to conduct annual departmental promotion committees for employee advancement.

In an effort to support students preparing for competitive exams like NEET, the government has distributed over 135,000 laptops to meritorious students. Additionally, top-performing students in board exams have received scooters as awards, with some having received both laptops and scooters.

School Education and Transport Minister Uday Pratap Singh remarked that under Chief Minister Yadav’s leadership, the government is consistently achieving excellence. He noted that the compassionate appointments serve as blessings for the families of deceased employees, and the focus on regular recruitment, promotions, and compassionate appointments has been prioritized. Singh also mentioned that the government has addressed long-standing issues faced by teachers alongside new recruitments, resolving over 1,500 pension cases in the last three months.
