New Delhi, August 17: A great opportunity has emerged for youth seeking government jobs. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team, known as CERT-In or ICERT, has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 133 Scientist-B positions across various subjects. The application deadline is fast approaching, with only a few weeks left. Interested candidates can apply until August 17.
Among the 133 vacancies for the Scientist positions at ICERT, there are 83 openings in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), 25 in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA), and 25 in Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC).
The online application process commenced on July 14, and the final date for submissions is set for August 17. Candidates wishing to fill out the application form can submit their registration on the official ICERT portal by 5:30 PM on the deadline.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technology field from a recognized institution or university (a minimum four-year degree course), or a Master’s degree in science subjects, or a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA). Additionally, candidates must possess a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score in the relevant subject code.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 30 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on shortlisting through valid GATE scores, followed by personal interviews and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month, according to the 7th CPC pay matrix under Pay Level 10.
