Thiruvananthapuram, May 12: The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of qualified candidates for 14 different positions, including a Super Specialist, on a contractual basis at its hospital in Azhukon, Kollam.
The available positions include one Super Specialist in the Medical Oncology department, one Specialist each in the Pulmonology, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Accident Emergency Services, Radiology, Ophthalmology, and Psychiatry departments, and one Senior Resident each in the Biochemistry, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Radiology, and ICU departments.
Candidates applying for these positions must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution, along with a relevant Master’s degree, diploma, or DNB in their respective specialties. For the Super Specialist role, an MCh, DM, or DNB is required. Additionally, candidates must have the specified years of experience in the relevant field and meet other eligibility criteria.
The maximum age limit is set at 45 years for Senior Resident positions and 69 years for Specialist/Super Specialist roles, calculated as of the interview date. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a walk-in interview and document verification, with monthly salaries ranging from ₹1,40,817 to ₹2,00,000, depending on the position.
The walk-in interviews will be held on May 15 at ESIC Hospital, Azhukon, starting at 10 AM. Candidates are required to register between 9 AM and 10 AM on the same day.
Applicants must pay a registration fee of ₹250 for General/OBC candidates and ₹50 for SC/ST candidates. Women and candidates with disabilities are exempt from the registration fee.
