ESIC Delhi Offers 40 Job Openings for Senior Residents and Specialists with Walk-In Interviews on November 3

New Delhi, October 24 (Daily Kiran) : The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) in New Delhi has announced a significant recruitment drive, offering 40 job positions across various medical specialties. This opportunity is particularly appealing for those seeking employment in the healthcare sector.

The available positions include 19 Senior Resident roles, 13 Contractual Specialist roles, and 8 Contractual Super Specialist roles. The Senior Resident positions cover a range of specialties: two in Anesthesiology (ICU), one in Dermatology, one in Gynecology, one in Pathology, five in Pediatrics (NICU), one in Psychiatry, two in Radiology, four in Surgery, one in Medical Oncology, and one in Nephrology.

For the Contractual Specialist roles, there are positions in Anesthesia (ICU), Biochemistry, Chest Medicine, Dental (Endodontist), Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Medicine, Radiology, and Accident & Emergency. The Contractual Super Specialist positions include one each in Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Urology, and Rheumatology.

Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview and document verification process. The salary for Senior Residents ranges from ₹67,700 to ₹1,50,294, while Contractual Specialists can earn between ₹1,50,294 (Junior Specialist) and ₹1,74,936 (Senior Specialist). Contractual Super Specialists can expect salaries between ₹2,00,000 (Entry-Level) and ₹2,40,000 (Senior Consultant).

Applicants for the Senior Resident positions must hold a postgraduate degree or diploma in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution and be registered with the Delhi Medical Council or the Medical Council of India. Contractual Specialists need a postgraduate degree/diploma along with an MBBS, and experience ranging from three to five years, depending on their qualifications. Dental candidates must possess an MDS in Endodontics and have three years of experience.

For the Contractual Super Specialist roles, candidates must have an MBBS along with an MD/MS/DNB in the respective super specialty, and registration with the Delhi Medical Council or the Medical Council of India. Experience requirements vary based on the level of the position.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 45 years for Senior Residents and 69 years for both Contractual Specialists and Super Specialists, calculated as of November 3, 2026. Relaxations in age limits apply for candidates from reserved categories.

The walk-in interviews will take place on November 3 at the ESIC Hospital located at Shri Anandmayi Marg, Phase 1, Okhla, New Delhi – 110020. Candidates are required to report between 9 AM and 11 AM, bringing a hard copy of their filled application form along with original and photocopies of all necessary documents.

An application fee of ₹500 is applicable, with concessions available for SC/ST/EWS candidates and exemptions for women and persons with disabilities.

It’s important to note that these positions are initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on annual evaluations and satisfactory performance, up to a maximum of three years.
