Bihar MLC Elections: Anant Singh Prepares for Celebration Ahead of Results, Claims Victory

With Bihar MLC election results pending, Anant Singh celebrates, claiming his candidates victory, stirring political excitement.

Patna, October 24 (Daily Kiran) : The Bihar Legislative Council elections concluded on October 23, and all eyes are now on the results. Political tensions are rising, especially concerning the Patna Graduate constituency. Anant Singh, a Janata Dal (United) MLA from Mokama, has already begun preparations for a celebration at his home, asserting that his candidate, Anuj Singh, has won before the official results are announced. Sweets and various dishes are being prepared for the anticipated festivities.

The results for the Bihar Legislative Council elections are set to be declared on October 27. However, the preparations for a feast at Anant Singh’s residence have intensified political discussions. Notably, Singh has been campaigning for Anuj Singh, a candidate from Jan Suraj, rather than his own party’s nominee, Neeraj Kumar. He has consistently claimed that Anuj Singh will emerge victorious.

Anant Singh remarked that it is customary to distribute sweets after an election win. He assured that arrangements would be made for snacks and meals for visitors. When questioned about the pre-results celebrations, he stated that the established norms would continue. He expressed confidence, claiming they have already won the election. The MLA emphasized that votes cannot be bought, asserting that the public is like God, and he fully trusts them.

This statement has been interpreted as a strong assertion of Anuj Singh’s anticipated victory in the Patna Graduate seat. In this electoral battle, the NDA-supported JDU candidate Neeraj Kumar is also in the fray, while Anuj Singh seeks to make his mark.

During the campaign, Anant Singh was openly advocating for Anuj Singh, which has sparked considerable discussion in political circles. The true outcome will only be clear after the vote counting on October 27, but the preparations at Anant Singh’s home and his claims of victory have heightened anticipation surrounding the election results.
