New Delhi, July 2: A shocking incident has occurred in Ghaziabad’s Tronica City area, where a 5-year-old girl was abducted and sexually assaulted. Following a complaint from the victim’s family, the police have registered a case against the accused and initiated an investigation.
The complainant, a resident of Khekra in Baghpat district, reported that his daughter went to visit her uncle in the village of Badarpur on Wednesday evening around 7 PM. During this time, a 13-year-old boy named Sonu from Badarpur lured her away and committed the assault.
The victim’s family claims that after the abduction, they searched extensively for their daughter but could not find her. Eventually, she was discovered covered in blood and recounted her ordeal to her family. Subsequently, the family filed a complaint against the accused at the Tronica City police station.
Based on the family’s report, the police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the law and sent the girl for a medical examination. The accused has been taken into custody and placed in a child protection center.
ACP Siddharth Gautam stated that the Tronica City police received a call through Dial-112 on Wednesday, reporting that the caller’s niece had been harmed. Upon receiving this information, a case was registered, and the victim was sent to the hospital for medical care.
The ACP confirmed that the accused is now in custody and has been sent to a protection center. The police are continuing their investigation and necessary legal actions.
