New Delhi, 2 January: The Delhi Government has decided to file a First Information Report (FIR) against Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party and former Chief Minister. This information was shared by Delhi’s Education Minister, Ashish Sood.

Ashish Sood stated that the Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal have been spreading confusion and misinformation regarding teachers in Delhi. The government will now take legal action against this. The Education Minister explained that the decision aims to stop the alleged false propaganda and incorrect information related to the education system in Delhi.

Earlier on Thursday, the Chief Minister’s office informed that strict action has been taken against the fake news spread by the Aam Aadmi Party. The Education Department has filed a formal complaint at Civil Lines police station. This was described as a serious and deliberate attempt to undermine the morale of dedicated teachers and create distrust in Delhi’s education system. The statement added that such deception against Delhi will not be tolerated, and there is zero tolerance for politics based on lies. All responsible individuals will be held fully accountable under the law.

The issue concerns allegations about teachers being asked to count stray dogs in Delhi government schools. However, BJP leaders have denied these claims and accused the Aam Aadmi Party of spreading confusion.

AAP MLA Sanjeev Jha told a news agency, “Initially, BJP claimed no such order was issued, but now they have accepted that such an order was indeed given. This proves that Education Minister Ashish Sood is not managing the education department. Either someone else is running it, or the minister issued the order and lied when caught. The minister has said that government schools will monitor street dogs and take responsibility for their vaccination. Is this the job of a teacher?”
