New Delhi, August 29: Harsh Malhotra, the President of the Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), will lead party workers in listening to the 137th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program, ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ at over 6,000 locations across the city this Sunday.
A party leader confirmed that Malhotra will listen to the program with members of the local residents’ welfare association and BJP workers at Saini Enclave Park on Bharatendu Harishchandra Marg in East Delhi’s Anand Vihar.
The broadcast will be available on the All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan networks, as well as on the AIR News website and the NewsOnAir mobile app.
Additionally, the program will be streamed live on the YouTube channels of AIR News, DD News, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
An official statement noted that AIR will also broadcast the program in regional languages immediately after the Hindi transmission.
On July 26, Malhotra observed a moment of silence after listening to Prime Minister Modi‘s monthly radio program, paying tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Kargil War.
Speaking to the media, the Delhi BJP President described the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program as inspirational. He highlighted how, on Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Prime Minister paid homage to the nation’s brave martyrs and soldiers, remembering their indomitable courage and sacrifice.
Malhotra emphasized India’s growing defense capabilities and self-reliance, citing the successful tests of INS Mahendragiri, the Pinaka long-range guided rocket, and the Kusha missile as significant achievements in the country’s scientific and strategic capabilities.
He listened to the radio program alongside BJP National General Secretary Radha Mohan Das Agrawal, Odisha MP Balabhadra Majhi, Youth Morcha President Rajat Chaudhary, Office Secretary Kailash Jain, Amit Gupta, and hundreds of young party workers.
Rajan Tiwari, the state coordinator for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, reported that 6,450 such events were organized across Delhi on July 26.
On this occasion, Delhi BJP General Secretary (Organization) Pawan Rana listened to the program with party workers in the Outer Delhi district. State General Secretary Vishnu Mittal participated with workers at Delhi Gate Ward, General Secretary Yogita Singh engaged with youth in Kalkaji, and General Secretary Mohan Lal Gihara listened in Madipur Ward.
