Shahjahanpur, August 29: Uttar Pradesh Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna has hit back at Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav‘s accusations against the BJP government. Khanna suggested that Yadav should reflect on the law and order situation and development during his own tenure before criticizing the current administration. He emphasized that the public no longer trusts Yadav’s claims and predicted that the BJP will flourish in the upcoming elections.
Khanna recalled a time during Yadav’s leadership when crime, terrorism, and anti-social elements thrived. He asserted that the BJP government is recognized nationally and internationally for its strong law and order. The Yogi government has reinforced the rule of law in the state, significantly improving its image. Development has accelerated under this administration, adhering to the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ without discrimination.
Addressing Yadav’s allegations regarding the JP-NIC project, Khanna stated that the previous government should apologize to the public. Initially estimated at 100-200 crores, the project’s cost ballooned to over 800 crores. He accused Yadav of misusing funds and urged him to reflect on this issue.
Khanna highlighted the Yogi government’s women-centric initiatives, including free bus travel for women over 60 and support for daughters from birth to marriage through schemes like the Kanya Sumangala Yojana and the Chief Minister‘s Mass Marriage Scheme. He noted that the government has made significant efforts for women’s respect and welfare.
On Yadav’s comments about the ‘PDA’, Khanna remarked that the meaning of ‘P’ has shifted between ‘backward’ and ‘pandit’ depending on political circumstances. This inconsistency raises questions about credibility among the public. Khanna urged Yadav to consider his past statements in light of his current claims.
In response to Yadav’s assertion that the BJP’s efforts will not bear fruit this time, Khanna confidently stated that no matter the opposition’s dreams, the lotus will bloom.
Regarding rising inflation and Yadav’s claims of companies increasing prices for funding before elections, Khanna maintained that the public does not believe these accusations. He reiterated that a person who alters the meaning of ‘P’ in their political formula cannot expect their other allegations to be taken seriously. Under the BJP government, law and order and development have been prioritized, and the party will present this record to the electorate in the upcoming elections.
