Ronaldo has a contract with Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr that runs until June 2027. The Portuguese legend has previously indicated that retirement is on the horizon, but he has not specified a timeline. However, in a recent interview with Vogue, Ronaldo stated that he might be approaching the final chapter of his career. He expressed, “This might be my last year in football. I want to leave behind a great legacy.”
Last November, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner mentioned that he hoped to play for “one or two more years.” He emphasized that he would participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which would mark his last appearance in the tournament.
