Varanasi, March 8: The T20 World Cup 2026 final between India and New Zealand is set to take place today at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Excitement is palpable across India as fans pray for a victory. In the holy city of Varanasi, cricket enthusiasts gathered at Assi Ghat to perform a Havan, seeking blessings for the Indian team’s success. Many fans waved the tricolor flag during the ritual.

A cricket fan shared, “Today is a big match between India and New Zealand. We performed a special Havan at Assi Ghat to ensure our team wins the World Cup. We prayed for our batsmen and bowlers to perform well and bring the trophy home.”

Another fan commented, “The Indian team has been playing exceptionally well this time. I hope they continue this form. The most important thing is that our players are in good shape. We conducted this Havan to boost their morale and pray for a win.”
