Chirag Delhi, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : In Chirag Delhi, panic erupted after cracks were discovered in a dilapidated hostel building. The Delhi government acted swiftly, evacuating students from the facility to ensure their safety. Minister Ashish Sood released a video addressing the situation and criticized Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bhardwaj.
In his video statement, Sood emphasized that the government took immediate preemptive measures to secure the students and arranged alternative accommodations. He reassured them that their security deposits would be returned. Male students were relocated to Bhagat Singh College, while female students were placed in a vocational college. “The government is here to work, not to get embroiled in controversies,” Sood stated.
He further asserted that the current Delhi government prioritizes solutions over disputes, focusing on safety first and politics second. Sood did not hold back in his criticism of Bhardwaj, questioning his accountability. “For the past ten years, he has been the local legislator. Will he take responsibility for the corruption that has occurred here?” he asked.
Sood pointed out that Bhardwaj, who was a minister during this period, should explain why the building, which was operating as a hostel, was allowed to remain in such a state. He urged unemployed leaders to seek constructive work instead of engaging in frivolous politics, allowing the government to perform its duties.
