Congress to Protest NEET-2026 Paper Leak Allegations on May 21

Jaipur, May 18: The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee has announced a protest against the alleged paper leak of the NEET-2026 examination and the purported involvement of BJP leaders.

Under the leadership of Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra, party workers will surround the BJP state headquarters in Jaipur on May 21. The party is demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the dissolution of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

While addressing the media, Swarnim Chaturvedi, General Secretary and Media Head of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, claimed that the NEET-2026 paper leak jeopardizes the future of millions of students across the country. He directly held the central government and the NTA responsible for this incident.

Chaturvedi alleged that during the investigation, the involvement of BJP leaders in the paper leak was revealed. He further claimed that those implicated in the NEET-2026 case had previously purchased and leaked the NEET-2025 paper, and that the NEET-2024 exam paper was also reportedly leaked.

The Congress leader accused the central government of failing to take effective action against the NTA despite years of allegations regarding irregularities and paper leaks in examinations. He stated that several exams organized by the central government have faced paper leaks, resulting in cancellations, yet no stringent actions have been taken against the culprits.

The Congress also alleged that despite being aware of the NEET-2026 paper leak, the Rajasthan government delayed action, and the police did not file an FIR promptly.

The protest march will commence at 10:00 AM on May 21 from the state Congress headquarters in Jaipur. Congress workers will march past the Shaheed Smarak and reach the BJP state headquarters, where they will stage a sit-in and protest at 11:00 AM.
