Congress MP Labels Owaisi as BJPs Agent in Political Tensions

Promod Tiwari claims Asaduddin Owaisi acts as an agent for BJP, criticizing his influence on minority votes and questioning law enforcement in Maharashtra.

Prayagraj, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : Congress MP Promod Tiwari has accused AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi of being an agent for the BJP, following Owaisi’s recent comments at a rally in Rampur. Tiwari stated that election results indicate Owaisi’s alignment with the BJP, prompting him to describe the two as “twin brothers.”

During the rally, Owaisi addressed the crowd, asserting that they should not choose leaders from the Nehru, Gandhi, or Yadav families. In response, Tiwari questioned Owaisi’s credibility, stating, “What authority does he have to position anyone akin to Gandhi or Nehru?” He further claimed that Owaisi either intentionally or unintentionally divides minority votes at the behest of the BJP. Tiwari confidently asserted that Owaisi’s actions have bolstered BJP’s position in elections, citing examples from Maharashtra where Owaisi’s party won four seats but inadvertently helped the BJP secure 22 others by splitting votes.

Tiwari also pointed to similar patterns in Bihar, where winning candidates from Owaisi’s party aligned with JDU, again benefiting the BJP. “The results clearly show that he operates as an agent for the BJP,” Tiwari said.

On the issue of electoral integrity, Tiwari emphasized the need for a government change, criticizing the current administration’s handling of economic and foreign policies. He argued that the public desires relief from inflation and unemployment, making a government transition essential to protect voting rights. He also leveled accusations against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar for facilitating vote theft.

Additionally, Tiwari raised concerns about law and order in Maharashtra following a recent attack on actor Tiger Shroff. He questioned the safety in Mumbai, India’s financial capital, referencing the recent assassination of Baba Siddiqui and the challenges faced by Salman Khan. Tiwari noted that Shroff was fortunate to escape unharmed, attributing his survival to luck rather than effective law enforcement, echoing sentiments expressed by Shroff’s mother, who remarked, “God is great.” He warned that had the weapon malfunctioned differently, the outcome could have been dire.
