The ministry attributes the better performance to several strategic policy measures, stringent monitoring, and continuous support to stakeholders. These efforts have played a key role in accelerating operational approvals and enhancing production capacity, leading to growth in coal production and supply.

Through consistent policy facilitation, rigorous performance monitoring, and coordinated engagement with stakeholders, the ministry aims to ensure reliable coal availability, support seamless operations in key sectors, and meet the country’s growing energy needs, contributing to the long-term national goal of a developed India by 2047.
