Ranchi, October 12 (Daily Kiran) — The weather in Jharkhand is expected to remain clear for the next five to six days, with a drop in minimum temperature likely across several districts, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Sunday.

According to the weather office, there is currently no active weather system over Jharkhand. As a result, the southwest monsoon is expected to completely withdraw from the state within the next two to three days.
Over the past couple of days, residents in Ranchi and nearby areas have experienced cooler nights and warmer afternoons. The IMD noted that light, isolated rainfall was recorded at a few locations during the past 24 hours.
On Sunday morning, the skies remained clear with mild sunshine across Ranchi and adjoining regions. Early morning hours were slightly chilly, marking the onset of cooler weather.
Recorded Temperatures (October 12):
-
Ranchi: 29.4°C
-
Jamshedpur: 33.5°C
-
Daltonganj: 32.5°C
-
Bokaro: 31.5°C
-
Chaibasa: 33.4°C
The IMD forecast suggests that night temperatures across Jharkhand are likely to dip further over the next few days as dry and cool northerly winds continue to dominate the region.
