
Paris, April 19: The Paris Book Festival in France has inaugurated the exhibition titled “Introduction to China: A Cultural Showcase.” This exhibition, themed “A China Filled with the Fragrance of Books,” features outstanding literature, a culture of harmony and unity, and distinct cultural and creative products. It showcases over 260 types of books and cultural items across various categories.
The aim of this exhibition is to highlight China’s achievements in the field of book publishing abroad in the new era, along with its independent intellectual property products and cultural innovations. It also seeks to promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and France.
French guests at the opening ceremony praised the “Introduction to China: A Cultural Showcase” series, emphasizing that cultural exchange is a vital component of the relationship between France and China.
The Paris Book Festival is one of Europe’s major annual public cultural events. This year’s festival has attracted nearly 450 publishers, over 1,200 authors, and 114,000 readers from around the globe.
