
Beijing, May 5: According to the China State Railway Group, on May 4, China Railway provided transportation services to 20.383 million passengers.
During the May Day holidays, which began on April 29, China Railway successfully served a total of 117 million passengers with safe, stable, and organized operations.
On May 5, the number of returning passengers continued to rise. China Railway expects to transport 23 million passengers today, with plans for 2,225 additional passenger trains.
Railway departments across the country are actively working to manage the heavy influx of returning travelers. They are coordinating the use of transportation capacity and making every effort to ensure a safe and smooth return journey for passengers.
