
Beijing, August 21: According to a report released by China’s National Immigration Administration on August 20, citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam will now be eligible for a 240-hour visa-free transit policy during their travels in China. Additionally, these travelers can also benefit from a 30-day visa-free entry policy for Hainan Province.
With this update, the total number of countries eligible for the 240-hour visa-free transit policy has reached 57, while the number of countries eligible for the 30-day visa-free entry policy for Hainan has increased to 61.
A relevant official from the National Immigration Administration stated that implementing these two visa-free policies for Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam is a practical step towards promoting high-level openness in the region and building a community with a shared future. This initiative aims to enhance mutual trust and cooperation between the two sides, making tourism, trade, and investment more convenient and efficient.
In the next phase, the National Immigration Administration will establish coordination in development and security, firmly uphold a standardized and organized entry and exit management system, and better promote personnel exchanges and international cooperation between China and foreign countries. This effort is expected to contribute to the country’s high-level openness and high-quality development.
