Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Highlights the Importance of Anganwadi Centers for Child Development

Ujjain, July 15: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized that ideal Anganwadi centers serve as the first school for children’s holistic development. The government is providing all necessary facilities at these centers to support the physical and mental growth of young children.

During a visit to the Swaez Farm’s capable Anganwadi center in Ujjain, CM Yadav stated that this center, built with CSR funds in Sadawal, has made all essential arrangements for the comprehensive development of children.

He noted that the Madhya Pradesh government is regularly upgrading Anganwadi centers, leading to continuous positive changes in their conditions. Several initiatives are being implemented by the state government to enhance children’s development and education.

The Chief Minister highlighted that children at Anganwadi centers have access to well-equipped buildings, furniture, toys, nutritious meals, health check-ups, vaccinations, and early education—all under one roof. The government’s aim is to ensure the all-around development of children. He interacted with the children and reviewed the facilities at the center, including the food zone, health testing room, and medicine room.

Ujjain Collector Roshan Kumar Singh provided information about the activities conducted at the Anganwadi center. CM Yadav remarked that under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, India’s respect and recognition are growing globally. The Madhya Pradesh government is aligning its efforts with the ongoing development initiatives in the country. He noted that Ujjain is also experiencing a transformation in the current era, with preparations underway for the grand and divine Kumbh Mela in 2028.

During his visit, CM Mohan Yadav swung the children on swings at the Anganwadi center. The children welcomed him by presenting roses. He affectionately interacted with the little ones and distributed packets of laddus, along with nutritious snacks like chickpeas and peanuts.
