
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak expressed their views on the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. They described the budget as a roadmap for a developed India.
Keshav Prasad Maurya said the Union Budget 2026, presented under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, focuses on the development of villages and the poor, women’s empowerment, promotion of the tourism sector, and increasing farmers’ income. He added that the budget is dedicated to the welfare of the poor, women, quality healthcare, agricultural growth, and infrastructure development.
Maurya expressed gratitude to PM Modi and Finance Minister Sitharaman for this comprehensive, inclusive, and confident budget. He stated, “This is a budget guaranteed by Prime Minister Modi. It is the roadmap for a developed India. The focus is on poor welfare and overall development. It is an all-encompassing budget prioritising the interests of women, youth, elderly, farmers, and all sections of society.”
He further noted that the budget under the able guidance of PM Modi and the leadership of Finance Minister Sitharaman aims at empowering youth and women, creating employment, and strengthening education and health sectors. “With solid policies and a results-driven approach, this budget strongly advances the vision of Developed India-2047. Today’s budget is historic and reflects the strength of the nation’s women,” he said.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said the budget presented in Parliament fulfils the aspirations of millions of Indians. “This budget will realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of a developed India. It addresses every section of society and includes special provisions for Uttar Pradesh,” he added.
Pathak described the Union Budget 2026-27 as all-encompassing, inclusive, development-oriented, and fulfilling the hopes and ambitions of millions. “Presented under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, this budget proves that a self-reliant and developed India is not just a slogan but a firm commitment of our Government,” he remarked.
He concluded by saying that this budget envisions building an India that will lead globally in every field. He thanked the Prime Minister and Finance Minister for this welfare-oriented budget.
