CBSE Declares Class 12 Supplementary Exam Results: Students Can Download Mark Sheets Now

New Delhi, August 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for the Class 12 supplementary or compartment examinations. Students who participated in these exams and have been eagerly awaiting their results can now access them.

On Wednesday, CBSE released the results for the Class 12 supplementary examinations. Students who aimed to improve their scores or achieve passing marks can check their results and download their mark sheets from the official CBSE website, the Umang app, or the DigiLocker results portal.

A total of 291,576 candidates registered for the Class 12 supplementary exams, with 275,287 candidates appearing for the tests. Among these, 111,056 candidates participated for improvement, while 164,231 were in the compartment category. Notably, 53.08% of candidates in the compartment category passed this year, a significant increase from 38.36% in 2025.

To download the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exam mark sheet, candidates should first visit the official CBSE website. After reaching the homepage, they need to click on the link for the Class 12 supplementary exam results. A new page will open where students must enter their roll number, admit card number, school number, and either their date of birth or mother’s name. Once submitted, the results will be displayed on the screen. After checking the results, candidates should download their scorecards and keep a printed copy for future reference.

It is worth noting that last year, CBSE declared the Class 12 supplementary exam results on August 1, 2025, following exams held on July 15, 2025. This year, the supplementary exams took place on July 28, 2026. Students who have successfully passed the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exams can now proceed with the undergraduate admission process for the 2026-27 academic session at various universities and colleges across the country.
