Dumka, April 19: The Jharkhand government is on high alert for the Joint Civil Services Examination (JPSC) scheduled for Sunday. Learning from previous incidents of paper leaks, the administration is determined to leave no room for error this time. In this effort, surprise raids and thorough checks were conducted at various hotels in Dumka on Saturday.
To ensure that the hard work of candidates is not undermined, a special team from the Dumka district administration targeted well-known hotels in the city. Led by a magistrate, the team, accompanied by local police, meticulously examined the identities of individuals staying at the hotels. They searched hotel rooms and cross-checked the identification documents with the hotel entry registers. The primary goal of the administration is to crack down on any suspicious elements or gangs that may disrupt the examination. Fortunately, no suspicious individuals or objectionable materials were found during the extensive operation.
The Jharkhand Joint Civil Services (Direct Recruitment) preliminary examination will take place at 19 centers across Dumka on Sunday. The JPSC exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift is scheduled from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the second shift will run from 3 PM to 5 PM. No one will be allowed within a 100-meter radius of the examination centers during the exam period.
In Jharkhand, rumors and incidents of paper leaks before exams often negatively impact the morale of honest candidates. Therefore, the administration’s vigilance sends a strong message to those attempting to create disturbances.
