New Delhi, June 22: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has exciting news for those seeking employment. The company has invited applications for 100 positions of Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) under direct recruitment in the telecommunications sector. Interested candidates can apply until July 3.
The online application process for these vacancies began on June 4 at 10 AM. Candidates wishing to apply are advised to complete their registration on BSNL’s official portal before the deadline.
For applicants who make errors while filling out the application form, a correction window will be available on the official website from July 4 at 10 AM to July 11 at 10 AM.
Candidates must possess a graduation degree in engineering in telecommunications, electronics, radio, computer, electrical, information technology (IT), or instrumentation from a recognized institution or university by the central or state government. Those with an M.Sc. in Electronics or Computer Science, as well as candidates with an M.Tech in the specified subjects, are also eligible to apply.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 20 years, while the maximum age is 30 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a computer-based multiple-choice examination, medical tests, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹16,400 to ₹40,500. The computer-based test (CBT) is expected to be conducted in August.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹2,000 for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹1,000 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
