
New Delhi, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : Leaders have voiced their optimism regarding the upcoming BRICS Summit, which is set to take place in New Delhi. N. Ramchandra Rao, the Telangana BJP president, expressed pride in India’s role as the host. He noted that this summit follows the recent G20 meeting, further strengthening India‘s economy. Prominent leaders, including Vladimir Putin and China’s Premier Xi Jinping, have arrived to participate, signaling a potential boost to India’s foreign trade.
Ram Kripal Yadav, a minister in the Bihar government, highlighted that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, leaders from 11 countries are set to discuss various issues, including enhancing trade relations. He expressed confidence that the summit’s collaborative spirit will lead to success.
JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan remarked on Bihar’s aspirations, stating that local products like makhana and sattu will be showcased at the summit, reflecting their growing global recognition.
Congress leader Surendra Rajput pointed out that this marks the 18th BRICS Summit, with India hosting for the fourth time.
Sukhdev Bhagat, another Congress leader, emphasized the importance of dialogue, particularly following Prime Minister Modi’s meeting with Iran’s president. He expressed hope that discussions would enhance maritime security and boost trade.
The BRICS Summit promises to be a significant event, fostering international cooperation and economic growth.
