Bollywood Stars Attend Mahakals Bhasma Aarti, Seek Blessings

Ujjain, June 1: On the auspicious day of the Krishna Paksha Pratipada during the Jyestha Adhik Maas, a gathering of film stars graced the renowned Baba Mahakal’s Bhasma Aarti. Notable television and film actor Jay Bhanushali and recently married actress Aarti Singh participated in the divine morning ceremony, seeking blessings from Lord Mahakal. They were joined by esteemed filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who also attended the Bhasma Aarti to receive Baba Mahakal’s blessings.

After the ceremony, Bhandarkar praised the temple’s remarkable arrangements and prayed for the success of his upcoming films. He expressed, “It felt wonderful to be part of the Bhasma Aarti. Participating in it brings a unique peace and fulfillment to the soul. The divine energy felt here is hard to put into words. I have a long-standing relationship with the Mahakal temple, visiting for the past 20-22 years. Today, I prayed for all my loved ones. May Baba Mahakal’s blessings continue to be upon us. Each time I visit Ujjain, I notice significant changes, for which I thank the Chief Minister.”

Discussing his upcoming project, he revealed that his film ‘The Wives’ is on the way. “The shooting is complete, and post-production is underway. Once the release date is set, everyone will be informed. I believe it could release around October-November. Before the film hits the screens, I will definitely come to seek Mahakal’s blessings,” he added.

Actress Aarti Singh shared that she had visited Baba’s court in April but missed the Bhasma Aarti, which she regretted. However, she felt elated to participate this time. “I had a strong desire to attend the Bhasma Aarti at least once. After the Aarti, I feel a sensation that I cannot describe in words. Even as I speak with you, I am still getting goosebumps,” she said.

She further remarked, “I was in Indore for a show, but Baba called me, and here I am. I believe Baba summons us. The energy here is unlike anything I have ever felt before. I just want to say that may Baba’s grace and blessings remain upon us all.”

Actor Jay Bhanushali shared his experience, stating, “The experience here was divine. For many years, my friends and family have visited, and I always hoped for my call to come. Today, that day has arrived. Leaving the Bhasma Aarti, I carry divine energy with me. I have heard from many that if you attend the Bhasma Aarti once, you leave the temple with a different energy and experience. Today, I feel just that.”
