Body of Martyr Khemaram Kumawat to Arrive in Hometown Amidst Pride and Grief

Jaipur, June 15: The body of martyr Khemaram Kumawat, who lost his life in the AN-32 plane crash in Jorhat, Assam, will arrive in his ancestral village on Monday. The final rites will take place in Panchota village, located in the Nawa sub-district of Rajasthan’s Dausa district. His sacrifice has cast a shadow of sorrow over the entire region.

Khemaram, who joined the Air Force as an Agniveer just three and a half years ago, brought devastating news to his family upon his martyrdom. His mother and sister are heartbroken over the loss of their brave son. Despite the profound grief, pride shines through the tears of family and villagers, reflecting their respect for his ultimate sacrifice.

Speaking to a news agency, Khemaram’s brother, Rajendra Kumawat, shared, “Khemaram had the best nature. He was as kind as he was courageous. After completing his 12th grade, he attended coaching classes, and he was selected as an Agniveer on his second attempt. Fate had other plans for him.”

Rajendra recounted receiving the call informing them of Khemaram’s martyrdom. “My brother was a true patriot. I do not feel sorrow over his sacrifice; instead, I feel immense pride,” he added.

The martyr’s home has become a gathering place for villagers, local representatives, and neighbors offering their condolences. People from the surrounding areas await their final glimpse of their brave soldier with tearful eyes and heavy hearts. Every citizen in the village echoes the sentiment that the nation has lost a valiant soldier, a loss that can never be replaced.

In light of the martyr’s final farewell, the administration is fully prepared. With the expected large turnout of patriots for the last journey, arrangements for cleanliness, security, and other necessities at the cremation ground are being made at war footing.
