BJP Spokesperson Criticizes Rahul Gandhis Foreign Trip, Links Congress and AIMIM in Vote Bank Politics
BJPs Yasir Jilani attacks Rahul Gandhis foreign trip, claiming both Congress and AIMIM engage in vote bank politics targeting Muslims.

New Delhi, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : BJP spokesperson Yasir Jilani recently launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi regarding his foreign travels. He asserted that both All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Congress are merely two sides of the same coin, engaging in vote bank politics centered around the Muslim community.
Commenting on Gandhi’s foreign trip, Jilani remarked, “This has become a habit for him. Whenever he participates in a movement, he relies on the support of a leftist leader. After that, it seems he feels the need for a vacation and possibly some funding arrangements. He should clarify to the people of India the purpose of his trip.”
Jilani questioned whether Gandhi traveled as a leader of the opposition or merely for leisure. He expressed skepticism that the people of India would accept what he termed a mockery of serious political engagement.
In response to the recent attack on actor Tiger Shroff, Jilani acknowledged Shroff’s talent and condemned the assault. He praised the prompt action of police agencies, stating that the suspects were arrested within 24 hours. He emphasized that law enforcement would not spare anyone involved, reiterating Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s commitment to apprehending the main culprits.
Addressing Owaisi’s remarks concerning Nehru and the Yadav community, Jilani reiterated his view that both Owaisi and Congress engage in vote bank politics focused on Muslims. He suggested that this ongoing rivalry is the source of their visible frustration.
On comments made by Congress spokesperson Shama Mohammad regarding Owaisi, Jilani reiterated his stance, saying, “They are two sides of the same coin. One moment they criticize each other, and the next, they are pointing fingers at one another. I believe the public is losing faith in them.”
CPI (ML) MP Sudama Prasad added that while Owaisi’s ideology is his own, the BJP’s actions are causing widespread devastation across various sectors, including the economy, trade, agriculture, education, and employment. He called for a united front among anti-BJP forces to combat these challenges, asserting that the struggle would determine who leads the movement both inside and outside Parliament.
