Mumbai, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : KEM Hospital in Mumbai has issued a second medical bulletin regarding the health of Umesh Chauhan, the auto driver injured in a shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. According to the latest update, Chauhan’s vital signs remain stable.

The bulletin, released on October 19, 2026, by Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, confirmed that Chauhan’s condition is hemodynamically stable. Previous reports indicated that the shooting did not affect his heart or lungs.

As of now, Chauhan’s pulse rate is recorded at 67 beats per minute, with a blood pressure of 120/80 mmHg. He is receiving four liters of oxygen per minute, and his oxygen saturation is at a healthy 100 percent. Doctors have completed angiography of his abdomen and pelvis. Due to his stable condition, conservative treatment without surgery will continue under close monitoring. Discussions have taken place with Dr. Uday Jadhav from the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (CVTS) team regarding his care.

The bulletin also mentioned that the operation to remove the bullet lodged in Chauhan’s chest is tentatively scheduled for October 21. However, this timing will depend on a reevaluation of his clinical condition and anesthesia fitness.

Sources indicate that the bullet has not yet been removed due to its sensitive location, and doctors are proceeding cautiously. A team of doctors is expected to make a final decision on how and when to extract the bullet. Chauhan remains under strict observation.

KEM Hospital administration has stated that further medical updates will be provided through the hospital’s official public relations channels. This bulletin was issued by the Dean’s office at Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai.
