
Ujjain, September 18 (Daily Kiran) : Nitin Naveen, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday morning. He participated in the morning aarti and offered prayers for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the nation.
Speaking to reporters, Naveen expressed, “Being on this sacred land, we can say that we have worshipped Mahakal for the joy and peace of all citizens, and we have received his blessings.” He emphasized that no one leaves Ujjain without receiving Mahakal’s blessings, and he felt fortunate to visit the temple for the first time since becoming president. “From this holy place, I wish for the fame and glory of everyone,” he added.
Naveen also reflected on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose birthday was celebrated the previous day as a day of service. He prayed that Lord Mahakal continues to bless the Prime Minister with success and recognition as he leads the nation on the path of development.
In a post on the social media platform X, Naveen shared, “I received blessings from Lord Mahakal by participating in the sacred bhasma aarti at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. I prayed for the happiness, peace, prosperity, and welfare of all citizens.”
Earlier, on Thursday evening, he attended a bhajan sandhya program at the famous Ram Ghat in Ujjain. On the occasion of Modi’s birthday, Naveen lit a ‘diya’ (lamp) at Ram Ghat, with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also in attendance.
