Murshidabad, February 3: BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee during her visit to Delhi. He asserted that the end of TMC’s rule in Bengal is imminent, and a BJP government is on the horizon.
In a conversation with a news agency, Ghosh stated that a BJP government will form in West Bengal after April. He believes Mamata Banerjee is aware of this, which is why she is holding numerous meetings. However, he claims these meetings are ineffective, as the public has recognized the reality of TMC and is ready to remove them from power.
Ghosh accused Banerjee of deliberately creating a scene in Delhi, stating that the entire country is witnessing her governance, which yields no results. He expressed concern over the influx of people from Bangladesh, suggesting they are disrupting the local environment and causing distress among the residents of West Bengal. He declared that Mamata Banerjee has lost control.
He further remarked that the current state of Bengal is evident to everyone, noting that TMC members are focused solely on enriching themselves. There is no one to listen to the public’s grievances, and even when citizens approach the police with complaints, they receive little attention.
On Monday, Mamata Banerjee met with Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at the Election Commission headquarters in New Delhi. Following the meeting, she criticized the Chief Election Commissioner, stating that in her extensive political career, she has never encountered someone so arrogant and dishonest. She emphasized that no one remains in power indefinitely and that everyone must eventually leave.
Additionally, she specifically targeted the Director General of the Election Commission, Seema Khanna, accusing her of playing a key role in removing the names of actual voters from the electoral rolls in West Bengal.
