BJP Launches Special Outreach Campaign to Celebrate 12 Years of Modi Government

New Delhi, June 13: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing various programs and outreach campaigns across the country to mark the completion of 12 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. In this context, Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra met with the Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University to discuss the government’s achievements and the developmental works undertaken during Modi’s tenure.

Malhotra informed the media that the BJP is running a “Special Outreach Campaign” nationwide, aimed at connecting with distinguished individuals contributing to various sectors of society. He mentioned that the campaign involves dialogues with university vice-chancellors, senior professors, doctors, educators, and other notable figures. During his meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, they discussed the government’s accomplishments and the progress made under Modi’s leadership.

Describing Modi’s tenure as transformative for the nation, Malhotra noted significant changes in both the direction and condition of India over the past 12 years. He emphasized that the continuous public support and trust in Modi have established him as the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in the country.

He pointed out that in 2014, thousands of villages lacked basic amenities, with around 18,000 villages without electricity. After assuming office, Modi prioritized the fundamental needs of the public and worked to address them through various schemes. He stated that the central government has launched nearly 200 welfare programs in recent years, ensuring they reach the grassroots level.

Malhotra highlighted the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana as one of the government’s significant achievements, noting that millions of people were excluded from the banking system. Due to complicated procedures, minimum deposit requirements, and other formalities, the poor and marginalized could not benefit from banking services.

He explained that through the Jan Dhan Yojana, millions of zero-balance bank accounts were opened, integrating these individuals into the formal financial system. He claimed that this influx of savings into the banking system has strengthened the country’s economy.

The Delhi BJP President stated that under Modi’s leadership, India’s economy has reached new heights on the global stage. According to him, the positive outcomes of the government’s various economic and social schemes have solidified India’s position among the world’s major economies. He noted that small yet effective reforms and public welfare policies have accelerated the country’s development journey.

He mentioned the New Education Policy (NEP), which aims to integrate education and skill development. The new educational framework not only focuses on degrees but also equips students with employment-oriented skills. Continuous establishment of new educational institutions is underway to expand higher education, along with extensive reforms in the education sector.

Malhotra concluded by stating that the BJP’s objective is to disseminate information about the developmental works and welfare schemes initiated under Modi’s leadership to various segments of society. To achieve this, party leaders and workers are engaging with people nationwide to share the government’s achievements.
