
Shimla, July 15: The Himachal Pradesh BJP has ramped up its preparations to intensify its movement against the Congress government. The party has established two separate committees aimed at drafting a charge sheet against the state government and conducting a public movement. A notification regarding this was issued by the state office on Wednesday.
According to the released order, the BJP will prepare a charge sheet addressing various issues related to the state government’s tenure, alleged failures, and matters of public interest. Additionally, a public movement will be launched across the state concerning these issues.
Dr. Rajeev Bindal, the state BJP president, will lead the charge sheet committee. Other members include Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, MP and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Rajya Sabha MP and state general secretary Prof. Sikandar Kumar, Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan, MLA and former state president Satpal Singh Satti, MLA and media department in-charge Randhir Sharma, former ministers Vikram Thakur and Sudhir Sharma, MLA and state vice president Balbir Verma, state general secretary Payal Vaidya, MLA and senior spokesperson Trilok Jamwal, and senior spokesperson and former MLA Rajendra Rana.
Dr. Rajeev Bindal has also been entrusted with leading the public movement committee. This committee includes Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, MP and former state president Suresh Kashyap, MP and state vice president Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut, MLAs and state vice presidents Vipin Singh Parmar, Pawan Kajal, and Vinod Kumar, state vice president Bihari Lal Sharma, MLA and chief spokesperson Rakesh Jamwal, former ministers Govind Singh Thakur and Dr. Rajiv Saital, state vice president Rashmidhara Sood, and MLA and state spokesperson D.S. Thakur.
The notification issued by state office secretary Pramod Thakur states that these committees have been formed to prepare a charge sheet against the Congress government and to conduct public movements. It is anticipated that the BJP will launch a statewide campaign on various issues against the government in the coming days.
