BJP Confident of Public Support in 2027, Dinesh Pratap Singh Responds to Akhilesh Yadavs Claims
Dinesh Pratap Singh asserts BJPs continued support ahead of the 2027 elections, countering Akhilesh Yadavs criticisms of the government.

Lucknow, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : In a recent statement, Dinesh Pratap Singh, the chief spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), responded robustly to accusations made by Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party. Singh emphasized that the people of Uttar Pradesh were troubled before 2017, but the situation has significantly improved under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath‘s administration. He expressed confidence that the youth of the state remains aligned with the BJP and will continue to show support in the upcoming 2027 assembly elections.
Singh addressed Yadav’s claims that the public is suffering and that the youth are discontented. He argued that prior to 2017, the state faced issues such as power shortages, lawlessness, and rampant corruption. However, he asserted that under the BJP government, citizens are not only content but thriving. Singh urged Yadav to abandon what he described as “Mungeri Lal’s beautiful dreams,” asserting that the youth have consistently supported the BJP and will reaffirm their backing in the next elections.
On the matter of alleged injustices faced by former minister Azam Khan, Singh countered Yadav’s assertions by stating that any unfair treatment stemmed from Yadav’s own actions. He claimed that when Khan was accused of wrongdoing, Yadav distanced himself from him. Singh noted that recent calls from Asaduddin Owaisi to drop charges against Khan have prompted Yadav’s renewed concern, which he characterized as political opportunism. He expressed that the Muslim community is now aware of who genuinely safeguards their interests.
Singh also highlighted the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, which has implemented various programs aimed at improving the lives of the underprivileged, including initiatives related to food security, health care, housing, and cooking gas. He stressed the importance of ensuring that these benefits reach all sections of society and encouraged Muslim youth to pursue leadership roles beyond traditional occupations.
In response to Yadav’s criticism of the BJP’s handling of religious sentiments, Singh accused the Samajwadi Party of disrespecting religious beliefs. He referred to instances where Sapa leaders have made derogatory remarks about Hindu traditions. Singh specifically mentioned comments made by Sapa spokesperson Rajkumar Bhati, who allegedly dismissed the significance of deities like Lord Ram and Lord Krishna at a public event. He claimed that instead of addressing such statements, Yadav has remained silent.
Singh concluded by asserting that the people of Uttar Pradesh and those who value traditional beliefs are taking note of these remarks. He confidently predicted that the electorate would respond to the Samajwadi Party’s actions in the forthcoming 2027 assembly elections.
