New Delhi, September 3: The monsoon season is nearing its end, yet cloudy weather will persist in Delhi-NCR. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), moderate rainfall is expected on September 3 and 4, accompanied by generally overcast skies.
From September 5 to 8, a gradual change in weather is anticipated, with the sky remaining partially cloudy. The rain is expected to prevent a significant rise in temperature, providing some relief from heat and humidity for residents of NCR.
The IMD forecasts a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius for September 3, with moderate rainfall expected. On September 4, the maximum temperature may reach 32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum could be around 25 degrees Celsius. No warnings have been issued for either day regarding local weather conditions, although a decrease in rainfall activity is indicated thereafter.
On September 5, temperatures are projected to be 33 degrees and 24 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels between 80 and 65 percent, and the sky remaining partially cloudy. Similarly, on September 6, the maximum temperature is expected to be 33 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius and partially cloudy skies.
On September 7, temperatures are forecasted to be 32 degrees Celsius at maximum and 23 degrees Celsius at minimum. By September 8, the maximum temperature is expected to be 33 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius, along with a forecast of partially cloudy weather. Thus, pleasant weather is likely to continue in NCR over the next few days.
Regarding air quality, monitoring stations in Noida recorded levels of 60 in Sector 125, 47 in Sector 62, and 89 in Sector 116, indicating relatively better air conditions. In Ghaziabad, several stations also reported satisfactory air quality, with levels of 51 in Govindpuram, 32 in Indirapuram, 60 in Loni, 31 in Sanjay Nagar, 48 in Vasundhara, and 88 in Ved Vihar-Loni.
Data from various monitoring stations in Delhi also showed that most areas are under control. Levels recorded include 36 in the Cantonment Area, 42 on Mathura Road, 47 at DTU, 56 in Bawana, 65 at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, 67 at the Commonwealth Sports Complex, and 82 at Chandni Chowk. However, some stations reported higher pollution levels, with 107 at Burari Crossing and 203 at Aaya Nagar, indicating that air quality varies across different areas of Delhi.
