New Delhi, February 19: Bihar’s Minister Dilip Jaiswal has stated that the country is making rapid advancements in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), positioning India as a leader in this domain.
During the AI Summit Expo held in New Delhi, which was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bihar Pavilion was inaugurated. Several significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed at this pivotal summit.
Jaiswal expressed confidence that these agreements would propel Bihar forward in the AI sector, allowing the state to keep pace with national development.
The minister also commented on Rahul Gandhi, noting that while reviewing any subject is one thing, government policies operate on a different level. He remarked that Gandhi is not politically mature and his statements on issues tied to national sentiments are politically inappropriate.
Responding to calls for a review of the liquor ban law, Jaiswal targeted RLM legislator Madhav Anand. He stated that a person who does not show seriousness in legislative proceedings and is often absent holds little significance in his statements. Jaiswal quipped that Anand could continue making such statements for five years if he wished.
Anand had previously praised several key decisions made by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, including the liquor ban law, which was implemented with good intentions. However, he suggested that it is now time for a comprehensive review to assess its effectiveness and whether it has met its intended goals.
