Bihar Deputy CM Assures Strict Action in NEET Student’s Death Case

Jehanabad, Bihar: Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha visited the family of the NEET student who recently died under tragic circumstances at Shambhu Girls Hostel in Patiyawan village, Jehanabad. The incident has drawn sharp criticism from opposition parties including RJD and Congress, who have questioned the state government’s law and order management.

Addressing the media after meeting the bereaved family, Deputy CM Vijay Sinha assured that the guilty will not be spared. He emphasized that under the current government’s rule of good governance, anyone found responsible will face strict punishment. “A thorough and impartial investigation is underway to examine every aspect of the case,” he said.

In a post on social media platform X, Vijay Sinha expressed condolences to the family and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to delivering complete justice. He stated clearly that no culprit would be shielded regardless of their influence or position. “Upon confirmation, the government will take the strongest possible action against those responsible for this sorrowful incident,” he added.

The Deputy CM also revealed that he has held discussions with the Director General of Police (DGP) and the Bihar Home Minister to ensure the investigation is closely monitored. The Home Minister has assured that the police administration is handling the matter with utmost seriousness and vigilance, with a transparent and time-bound inquiry in progress.

Recognising the immense grief of the victim’s family, Vijay Sinha appealed to the public for patience and cooperation with the investigation process. “All findings will be shared publicly with full transparency. The government stands firmly with the family and society to ensure a fair administrative inquiry,” he stated.

Deputy CM Vijay Sinha reaffirmed that under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership, Bihar’s government is committed to good governance and justice. “Justice will be served in every circumstance, and no wrongdoer will be allowed to escape at any cost,” he concluded.
