Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr at Khanqah-Mujibiya

Patna, March 21: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited Khanqah-Mujibiya in Phulwari Sharif on Saturday to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. He met with the head of the shrine, Hazrat Syed Shah Ayatullah Qadri, to receive blessings and extend Eid greetings.

Following this, the Chief Minister also visited Khanqah-e-Munammiya at Mittan Ghat in Patna City. There, he prayed for the peace and prosperity of the state alongside Hazrat Syed Shah Shamimuddin Ahmed Munami. He conveyed Eid wishes to the attendees present.

As part of his Eid celebrations, Kumar also visited Takiya Sharif and Khanqah Baragah-e-Ishq at Mittan Ghat, where he met with Syed Shah Khwaja Amir Shahid and other dignitaries to share Eid greetings. Rural Development Minister Ashok Chaudhary, JD(U) National Executive President and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, along with several other legislators, including Shyam Rajak and MLC Sanjay Kumar Singh, were present during these visits.

Earlier, a large number of people gathered at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna to offer Eid prayers. However, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did not attend this year; instead, his son Nishant represented him and conveyed Eid greetings to the crowd.

For many years, Nitish Kumar has attended the celebrations at Gandhi Maidan, but this time he was absent. Since becoming Chief Minister, he has consistently participated in this event. Nishant Kumar, along with Minister Ashok Chaudhary and other prominent JD(U) leaders, welcomed by Muslim leaders with a traditional scarf, expressed Eid wishes on behalf of his father, stating, β€œOn this auspicious occasion of Eid, I extend heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all citizens of the country and Bihar from my side and my father, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. May Allah’s blessings be upon everyone.”
