Kolkata, October 12 (Daily Kiran) : Bengal Gas Company Limited (BGCL) has announced an exciting opportunity for job seekers. The company is inviting applications for a total of 29 positions on a fixed-term employment basis, as detailed in an official notification.
The available positions include five Assistant Associates and five Associates in Project/Operation and Maintenance, three Senior Associates in the same category, along with various roles in Finance and Accounts, Civil Engineering, Human Resources, and more. Specifically, there are two positions for Assistant Associates in Finance and Accounts, two for Associates in Finance and Accounts, and one each for Senior Associate in Civil, Human Resources, and several others.
The application process commenced on September 28 at 11 AM and will close on October 27, 2026, at 5 PM. Interested candidates can complete their registration on BGCL’s official website before the deadline.
Candidates applying for the positions in Project/Operation and Maintenance must hold a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a four-year B.Sc. Engineering with at least 60% marks. For roles in Finance and Accounts, candidates should possess qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CMA with a minimum of 50% marks in the final examination, or a two-year full-time MBA with a specialization in Finance.
For the Assistant Associate position in Contract and Procurement, candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or an MBA with relevant specializations. Senior Associate positions in Civil Engineering require a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks.
The maximum age limit for applicants ranges from 37 to 50 years, depending on the position, with age calculated as of the application deadline. Relaxations in age limit are applicable for candidates from reserved categories, but the maximum age, including all relaxations, should not exceed 56 years.
Selection will be based on application screening, merit list, interviews, document verification, and a pre-employment medical examination. Salaries for selected candidates will range from ₹65,000 for Assistant Associates to ₹1,00,000 for Senior Associates, along with additional benefits.
Candidates should note that this recruitment is for a three-year term, which includes an initial six-month probation period.
