Ayodhya Ram Temple Complex Construction to Be Completed by September 30, Says Nripendra Mishra

Mumbai, August 20: Nripendra Mishra, the chairman of the Ram Temple Construction Committee, visited Ayodhya today. He is set to meet with representatives from various agencies involved in the construction work. Mishra announced that the construction of the Ram Temple complex will be completed by September 30.

He further stated that employees from Larsen & Toubro and Tata will vacate the site after October 30. The auditorium is being constructed by the State Construction Corporation, and all remaining work is expected to be finished by March 2027.

Mishra noted that the main construction work of the temple complex is nearly complete. The final task involves placing the logo of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust atop the memorial pillar. Approval has been granted for the installation of the trust’s current logo, which will be crafted from bronze.

He also provided updates on the development and operation of the Ram Katha Museum. Scripts and storylines for all galleries have been prepared. Each gallery will utilize different technologies tailored to its theme. For instance, Gallery Number 17 will showcase the rivers crossed by Lord Ram during his exile, along with messages delivered by him along those riverbanks. Mishra emphasized that the selection of technology will be aligned with the themes to effectively present these narratives.

Experts from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Chennai are working on innovative ideas to enhance the museum’s presentations. A three-day meeting will review various aspects related to the ongoing development of the temple complex and its associated facilities.

It is noteworthy that one of the unique features of the temple’s construction technique is the avoidance of iron and steel in its main structure. Traditional construction methods and special materials have been employed to ensure the temple’s long-term durability.
