Ayodhya Prepares for President Murmus Grand Welcome with Cultural Festivities

Ayodhya, March 16: Ayodhya is gearing up for President Droupadi Murmu’s anticipated visit on March 19. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are in full swing. The administration, along with the culture department and various organizations, is transforming the city into a grand cultural showcase to ensure a traditional and dignified welcome for the President.

Chief Development Officer Krishna Kumar Singh announced that a grand reception will be organized from the airport to the Ram Temple gate, featuring around 20 cultural stages along the city’s roads. Approximately 250 artists will perform during this event.

These stages will host performances based on the Ramayana, featuring artists from various districts of Uttar Pradesh. The programs will include welcome songs, bhajans, folk songs, folk dances, and traditional events related to Ram devotion. The stages will be set up on both sides of the road leading to the President’s route, filling the entire path with sounds of devotion and culture.

To showcase Ayodhya’s traditional culture, performances will include excerpts from Ram Leela, Awadhi folk dances, tableaux, drum and trumpet music, conch shell blowing, Vedic recitations, and bhajan singing. These presentations aim to reflect Ayodhya’s ancient religious, Vedic, and cultural traditions. Key locations for the stages will include Airport Road, Naka, Devkali, Chudamani Chauraha, Nishad Raj Chauraha, near Brihaspati Kund, and close to the Ram Temple gate. Smaller stages will feature teams of about seven artists, while larger stages will host around 15 artists for cultural performances.

Krishna Kumar Singh emphasized that all teams will vividly present Ram devotion, Awadhi culture, and Vedic traditions. The grand event aims to offer a heartfelt and traditional welcome to the President, further establishing Ayodhya’s cultural heritage on both national and global platforms.
