New Delhi, March 13: Audi India has revealed plans to raise vehicle prices by up to 2% starting April 1, 2026. This adjustment affects the entire range of models sold in the country. The decision comes in response to rising input costs and fluctuations in currency exchange rates, which have impacted production and operational expenses.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director of Audi India, stated that this price correction is necessary due to increasing cost pressures. He emphasized the company’s commitment to minimizing the impact on customers as much as possible.
The revised pricing will take effect on April 1, 2026, providing potential buyers a limited opportunity to purchase Audi models at current prices before the increase.
In addition to the price hike, Audi India has opened bookings for the new Audi SQ8, set to launch on March 17, 2026. Customers can reserve this performance-oriented luxury SUV with an initial booking fee of ₹5,00,000 through the official Audi India website or the myAudi connect app.
The Audi SQ8 is designed to blend the practicality of a large luxury SUV with the performance capabilities of Audi’s S division. It features a coupe-like silhouette with several visual upgrades, including a large grille with a silver surround and LED Matrix headlamps.
Under the hood, the SQ8 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 TFSI petrol engine, generating 507 bhp and 770 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h.
As Audi prepares to expand its performance SUV lineup in India, the SQ8 is positioned to enhance the brand’s offerings, sitting below the more extreme Audi RS Q8.
